Myanmar Textile Tour

Tour dates be released soon

A most spiritual land of ancient sun-burnt plains, grand rivers, rolling hills, and golden pagodas. Once known as Burma, and closed off from the world for the past half-century or so, there are still no tourist crowds here. And many live as they have done for centuries, so handmade is the norm, rather than an attraction. Textile weaving is fundamental to communities all over the country and with some 135 unique ethnic groups, each incredibly has their own individual patterns and techniques. On this tour, we’ll sleep comfortably in boutique lodgings by night, but by day, we’ll step off-the-map, exploring the breath-taking landscape and the village communities that call it home. Don't miss this amazing opportunity. Contact Nicole today to discuss.
